Eindie is the brainchild of trained chef, entrepreneur, activist, volunteer, mentor, working mum of two, Sonal Sher, who was born and brought up in the beautiful valley of Kashmir. She is passionate about preserving the unique cuisine from that area and taught herself to cook authentic Kashmiri food. She graduated from the Institute of Hotel Management, Ahmedabad, India which developed her knowledge of International food and cuisine. After working in the business for a while, she made UK her home and later on switched to her other interest, fashion and continued that until the birth of her first child.
After bringing up two children, she decided to work for herself and start a food business as it was something that she could do flexibly to fit her role as a mum.
The product took shape when she experimented with chutneys as part of a taster session and received really good feedback. She continued experimenting with various flavours and established a following of friends and local mums who loved her product and encouraged her to take this forward.
Eindie is a labour of love - a brand that showcases English flavours with an Indian twist, making the flavours unique.
